Pizza, Wings, and Beer - NY style, family restaurant by day/bar & hangout at night
Try: Calzone with garlic crust, Jose wings, Pizza by the slice










Pierce's Pitt BBQ :
Locally famous, pit-style bbq. A quick stop for a great meal.
Try: Pulled pork with slaw, of course!








The Cheese Shop :
Cheese & Wine, and Deli sandwiches - Located in Colonial Williamsburg
Try: A few cheeses, splurge on something new. We love the Whiskey Cheese & Sage Cheese
(Don't forget to go downstairs to pick up a few wines or brews....Governor's White from Williamsburg Winery is our go-to!)





King's Arms Tavern : (Colonial Williamsburg)
Reservations required for dinner, recommended for lunch - staff in period dress.
Try: **Spiced Hot Cider with Rum** ,  Meringue Shell dessert







The Trellis : (Colonial Williamsburg)
Food sourced from local farmers as much as possible. Said to have the best brunch around.
Try: Brunch! Obviously!







DoG Street Pub : (Colonial Williamsburg)
Gastropub in the historic area, with late night grub options.
Try: One of the many craft beers





Zaxby's: Chicken finger platters
It's like a different take on Chick-Fil-A, basically.
Try: Onion Rings, House Zalad, Zax Sauce

Blue Talon Bistro : Upscale Bistro (April suggests for an upscale lunch!)
French bistro, beautiful atmosphere & decor
Try: French Onion Soup

Cook-Out : If you're gonna eat cheap fast food....this is the place
Try: Any of the many milkshakes, and a cookout tray (the most calories & fat for your money)

County Grill : Another local favorite!
The best bbq in the area.
Try: Pulled pork, brisket, stuffed bbq shrimp. *Warm potato salad & Cornbread muffins*
(Pro Tip: Try all of the sauces on the table before deciding on one!)

Park Lane Tavern :
European themed/style tavern
Try: Fish & Chips, Shepherd's Pie, Monte Cristo












The Barking Dog :
Tiny hot dog joint on the marina. Great for a fast lunch and a beer on their deck-only seating.
Try: Seattle Dog, El Diablo Dog, or pretty much any of the "Snap" dog varieties.
(They also have alligator hot dogs....)







Venture Kitchen :
Pizza, sandwiches, and tapas
Try: White Pizza with mushroom, homemade tater tots.
